The International Piano Archives at Maryland (IPAM), a major center for the study and preservation of piano performance, houses the world's most extensive concentration of piano recordings, books, scores, and related materials, including the archival papers of many great classical pianists. In addition to enhancing the collections through gifts of materials, donors to IPAM are supporting the creation of online catalog records to assist users in finding information about the contents of IPAM's collections.
