Sharon Wiebking ’69, M.Ed. ’73 and Guy Wiebking ’69, MBA ’73 established the Sharon and Guy Wiebking Master Teacher Fund in May 2015 for the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences (CMNS). This fund partially supports a Master Teacher for the Terrapin Teachers Program. Terrapin Teachers is an innovative program designed to quickly produce a new teaching force of highly qualified instructors in STEM subjects. The program’s mission is to engage students in the teaching and learning process so that they are prepared by the end of their four undergraduate years to be highly skilled science and mathematics school teachers who can go on to teach and inspire their students.
