The civil and environmental engineering department is home to five Infrastructure Engineering Laboratories: the Structures Lab, Soil Lab, Teaching & Materials Lab, NDT and Pavement Lab, and Concrete & Asphalt Lab. Your support of these labs helps provide all undergraduate civil and environmental engineering students with access to top-of-the-line equipment and increased opportunities for practical, hands-on learning. Our renovated CEE labs enable faculty to leverage precision testing techniques to complement their classroom lectures. Through these lab resources, students can develop a better fundamental understanding of the behavior of steel, concrete, asphalt, soil, timber, recycled products, composites, and other materials employed in infrastructure design.
