Christopher T. Jones, Ph.D. '97 established the Academy of Distinguished Alumni Endowed Scholarship in Aerospace Engineering in December 2018 to provide merit-based scholarships for students in the Department of Aerospace Engineering in the A. James Clark School of Engineering.
The Department of Aerospace Engineering Academy of Distinguished Alumni recognizes alumni who have made notable contributions to the field of aerospace engineering and/or achieved other significant accomplishments. Dr. Christopher T. Jones is the former corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman Technology Services. He was inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Alumni in 2016.
