In honor of David Kantor’s legacy as an outstanding student at the Smith School, his family has established the David B. Kantor Memorial Scholarship. Throughout his tenure at Smith, David was known for his hard work, his academic success, and the support he gave to his fellow students. David continued to give back to the Smith School after he graduated, participating in recruitment and mentoring events until his untimely death. Smith prepared David well for a career as a CPA. Despite his success, he remained humble and always grateful to his alma mater.
The family of David Kantor continues his legacy of giving in the establishment of this scholarship fund. It is our hope that each year, a Smith student majoring in accounting who exemplifies the characteristics that led to David’s success will benefit from this memorial gift.
