Environmental Science and Policy (ENSP) is a multi-disciplinary undergraduate major co-sponsored by three Colleges and including eleven areas of concentration. While the Program is administratively housed in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (https://agnr.umd.edu/), it is co-sponsored by the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences(https://bsos.umd.edu/) and the College of Computer, Mathematical and Natural Sciences(https://cmns.umd.edu/). ENSP students learn about the natural sciences and human context of environmental problem-solving while completing a lower level, multi-disciplinary "core" and a structured, exploratory advising program.
Environmental Science and Policy Fund Concentrations in BSOS provides operating support to advance the mission and initiatives of the Environmental Science and Policy academic program within the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at the University of Maryland, which may include support of program activities, staff/faculty salary, operating expenses, scholarships, conference, travel & research related expenses.
