Glen E. Gordon Memorial Fellowship in Nuclear and Environmental Chemistry

This Fellowship honors the memory of Glen E. Gordon, who from 1969-1992  was an award-winning professor of chemistry and expert in nuclear and environmental chemistry.   Prof. Gordon is most noted for the development and application of nuclear techniques for the chemical analysis of air pollutants.  He founded and led the department's programs in analytical, nuclear, and environmental chemistry, and was an outstanding mentor to faculty and students in nuclear and environmental chemistry.  This award provides supplemental fellowships to graduate students in analytical, nuclear and environmental chemistry.
