An internship or study abroad experience makes a world of difference in how comfortable and competitive a student can be in an innovative, culturally diverse, and globally positioned work environment. We place students in international programs with high academic standards, often enriched with research or service-learning experiences. UM’s proximity to Washington DC, Annapolis and Baltimore also provides our students with a wealth of internship opportunities with federal and state governmental agencies, research institutions and with nongovernmental agencies. While some internships include stipends, many of the most interesting are volunteer positions. This fund helps students participate in the internship of their dreams.
