| Frances Landsberg, and friends and colleagues of the late Dr. H. E. Landsberg, established the Dr. H. E. Landsberg Fund in July 1993, to provide a merit-based award or scholarship for a graduate student pursuing a degree in the Department of Meteorology. Dr. Landsberg was a noted climatologist and served as the first Director of the Graduate program in Meteorology and of the Institute for Fluid Dynamics and Applied Mathematics. |
