The Clark Challenge for the Maryland Promise will establish a $100 million endowment that will provide need-based scholarships to undergraduate students from underserved populations in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia. The Joanne Mandell and Jared Mandell Maryland Promise Scholarship was established in February 2021 by Paul Mandell ’95 and Lisa Marion Mandell to honor Paul’s mother and father.
