Impact of Giving

In general, my annual gift to Maryland is to contribute back for the great and inexpensive education I received. The amount I've given since I've graduated (at least 15,000 over 15 years) is not even close to the value of the education I received. Since 2007, my gift represents a living memorial for my mother who passed away then from cancer. While not necessarily direct, maybe my gift will help a student one day find a great discovery that could change lives.

Manju and Gautham Thambidorai Endowed Scholarship in Electrical and Computer Engineering

Gautham Thambidorai, M.S. ’03 and Manju Anand established the Manju and Gautham Thambidorai Endowed Scholarship in Electrical and Computer Engineering in May 2024. This fund provides need-based scholarships for undergraduate students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the A. James Clark School of Engineering.
