Gifts to Maryland Hillel Programming support Jewish opportunities on campus. Maryland Hillel has a wide range of programs which serve to enlighten the UMD community about Jewish tradition and culture. There are more than 100 programs each week of the semester including free Shabbat dinners, traditional Jewish learning, Israel related events, and ongoing community service opportunities. The school year is also marked by marquee Maryland Hillel programs which attract more than 1,000 students each such as the Opening BBQ, High Holiday programming, SHABAM (Shabbat Across Maryland), Winterfest, Passover seders, and so much more.
