Impact of Giving

In general, my annual gift to Maryland is to contribute back for the great and inexpensive education I received. The amount I've given since I've graduated (at least 15,000 over 15 years) is not even close to the value of the education I received. Since 2007, my gift represents a living memorial for my mother who passed away then from cancer. While not necessarily direct, maybe my gift will help a student one day find a great discovery that could change lives.

Michael Miller Endowed Faculty Fellowship in Government and Politics

Nancy Miller established the Michael Miller Endowed Faculty Fellowship in Government and Politics in June 2022. This fund, established in memory of Nancy Miller's husband Michael Miller '75, will provide support for a junior faculty member in the Department of Government and Politics in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences.
