William G. Johnson '63 Endowed Scholarship
Dr. William G. Johnson was an undergraduate psychology major in the early 1960s. The coursework and interactions with professors provided him with a firm foundation that set the course for graduate study and a very fulfilling career as a clinical psychologist. Dr. Johnson worked primarily in university medical centers as a teacher, clinical researcher, and clinician.
As a student, at Maryland, Dr. Johnson played lacrosse, was active in student government, and worked multiple jobs to support his studies. For these reasons, he desires to support undergraduate psychology students so that they will be able to devote more time to their studies.
The William G. Johnson ’63 Endowed Scholarship will support merit-based undergraduate scholarships for students in the Department of Psychology in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences.
