Dr. Jack J. Blanchard and Dr. Melanie E. Bennett Student Experience Endowment
Dr. Jack Blanchard and Dr. Melanie E. Bennett established the Dr. Jack J. Blanchard and Dr. Melanie E. Bennett Student Experience Endowment to support undergraduate student stipends for experiential learning opportunities to psychology majors in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at the University of Maryland, who are in the pursuit of service learning opportunities, research and travel to present their research at scientific conferences. As faculty who are deeply involved in student mentoring and training, Drs. Blanchard and Bennett understand the importance of experiences beyond the classroom in helping students develop their interests and skills. It is their hope that these funds will serve to enrich the learning of undergraduate students in the Department of Psychology and prepare these students for their future goals.
