The Maryland Opera Studio is dedicated to the future of opera, preparing the next generation of great singers while building audiences and advancing the art form that sustains them. In this highly selective graduate program within the School of Music, singers are chosen by audition and spend two years honing their craft while performing at The Clarice. Renowned opera and voice faculty collaborate to create well-rounded artists who are prepared to thrive in the professional world. Alumni have gone on to successful performing careers throughout the United States and Europe.
