The student chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) at the University of Maryland is a 300-member organization dedicated to supporting academic and career success. With membership open to all undergraduate students in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, ASME’s programs also foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in the academic and professional setting. Contributions offset the costs of networking events, workshops, social events, competitions, and national conference travel.
