Northrop Grumman established the Northrop Grumman Current-Use Faculty Support Fund in Mechanical Engineering in June 2023. This fund provides faculty support in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the A. James Clark School of Engineering. Preference is for funds to be used for a solar array modeling project, which seeks to develop "modular" solar arrays in space.
