Dr. J. Kevin Mathias joined the Institute of Applied Agriculture faculty in 1979. During his 38 years, he taught thousands of students, gave nearly 200 talks at turfgrass conferences and workshops, and prepared over 30 teams for national competitions. This Fund provides annual scholarships for students in the Institute of Applied Agriculture, so that Dr. Mathias's legacy of helping students launch successful careers may continue.
