Impact of Giving

I personally chose to donate to UMD because the ONLY reason I am able to graduate this May is through the help of financial aid. While I am not quite able to contribute a lot at this time, I hope the money that I do contribute will be able to help other "first in family" Terps like myself finish school.

Maryland Cochlear Implant Center of Excellence (MCICE) Fund

The Maryland Cochlear Implant Center of Excellence (MCICE) combines the strengths of the University of Maryland-College Park in the areas of research, audiology training, and speech-language pathology training with the surgical and clinical expertise of the University of Maryland Medical Center and the University of Maryland-Baltimore School of Medicine to create a premier institution for educational training, clinical services, and basic and translational biomedical research on cochlear implants (CIs).

The Maryland Cochlear Implant Center of Excellence (MCICE) Fund will provide operational support to enhance that Center's research, clinical and educational activities.
