Impact of Giving

In general, my annual gift to Maryland is to contribute back for the great and inexpensive education I received. The amount I've given since I've graduated (at least 15,000 over 15 years) is not even close to the value of the education I received. Since 2007, my gift represents a living memorial for my mother who passed away then from cancer. While not necessarily direct, maybe my gift will help a student one day find a great discovery that could change lives.

Aerospace Board of Visitors Current-Use Faculty Fellowship in Aerospace Engineering

Marcio Duffles ’83 established the Aerospace Board of Visitors Current-Use Faculty Exploration Fellowship in August 2023. This fund provides support for junior faculty members in the Department of Aerospace Engineering in the A. James Clark School of Engineering.
