The Bandy/Jordan Women in Physics endowment supports the events and activities of the Women in Physics group at the University. Women in Physics is open to everyone - undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, faculty and staff and people of all genders. This fund was created by Dr. William R. Bandy and Mary Jo Jordan through a strong desire to support undergraduate students in physics, and a particular desire to encourage gender parity amongst undergraduates in Physics. This fund works to solidify the program by ensuring a reliable level of funding, which will help with the group's events, activities, planning and program development.
