The Donald Maley Scholarship Fund supports annual scholarships for outstanding students in teacher education. Established by Donald Maley who received his master's degree and doctoral degree in industrial education from the University of Maryland. Maley was a professor in the College of Education at Maryland from 1951 until his retirement in 1987. During his career, Maley established himself as a national leader in technology education and vocational-technical education.
