The Gerald E. and Martha M. Kightlinger Family Student Support Current-Use Fund will provide annual merit-based awards for undergraduate students majoring in German. These awards will provide financial support for costs associated with educational expenses or experiential learning opportunities at the discretion of the department head. The head of the Department of Germanic Studies or their designee(s) will administer the funds and select recipients. The recipient(s) will be selected in consultation with full-time faculty in the department. Awards will be made to the number of students that the Department of Germanic Studies deems meaningful and impactful.
