The Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Lucian E. Brown Endowed Scholarship fund was established in memory of Lucian E. Brown, the Dean of Pledges of the 1st pledge line at the Theta Theta Chapter at UMD. The fund supports merit-based scholarships for undergraduate students with a minimum 2.5gpa and who are;
- A current member of the Theta Theta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc
- A descendant or relative of past or current member of Theta Theta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc
- A descendant or relative of any member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc
- A member of the University's Incentive Awards Program, or
- A relative of a member (active duty or retired) of the United State Military
Spendable income from the Kappa Alpha Psi Lucian Brown Scholarship will be combined with spendable income from the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc (Theta Theta Chapter) Lucian E. Brown Endowed Scholarship to make awards.
