The Legacy Leaders Institute for Public Policy provides Maryland residents age 50+ with new careers as Legacy Service Leaders during retirement. The Institute was developed and nurtured within the Center on Aging, and has continued strong support from the Department of Health Policy & Management and the School of Public Health. Participants receive training and work with legislators to address chanllenges facing the State of Maryland. This fund supports program expenses including staffing, alumni engagement, and merit-based awards to program participants.
