Marla H. Schick established the Mark Wellman Maryland Promise Scholarship in February 2022 in memory of Dr. Mark Wellman under the auspices of the Clark Challenge for the Maryland Promise Program. This fund provides need-based scholarships for undergraduate students who are residents of Maryland or the District of Columbia, with preference for students in the Department of Management and Organization in the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
