By contributing to the Neuroscience and Cognitive Science Program (NACS) Gift Fund, you are supporting the cutting-edge research of more than 100 faculty and 50 graduate students at the University of Maryland, College Park. Students in the NACS research doctoral program are trained alongside faculty mentors to become future leaders in the fields of neuroscience and cognitive science. These scientists study the workings of the nervous system in humans and animals, conducting research ranging from examining the smallest mechanisms of individual nerve cells to investigating the highest cognitive processes of the brain.
