The Robert Franklin and Frances Riggs Wright Distinguished Chair in Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering will be established through a bequest from Dr. Frances W. Balfour. Once established, Spendable Income from the Robert Franklin and Frances Riggs Wright Distinguished Chair in Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering will to provide annual support for the faculty member appointed to the Robert Franklin and Frances Riggs Wright Distinguished Chair in Chemical Engineering and/or Bioengineering in the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University.
