The college is uniquely positioned to address the science-to-society gap to ensure learning, teaching and policy are informed by cutting-edge research into how children and young adults develop socially and morally. By translating this research into scalable education programs and practices, we can create initiatives that connect basic-science researchers to those working in the classroom in order to increase the knowledge base about special needs, personality development and how we cultivate young people’s understanding of diversity, peer-to-peer interactions and moral development.
