A college education can seem out of reach for even the most promising students. Gifts to the Incentive Awards Program throw a life buoy—and much more—to selected students from Prince George’s County, Montgomery County, Charles County and Baltimore City high schools who have thrived despite difficult backgrounds. The life-changing Incentive Awards Program pays for tuition, fees, and room and board for all four years at Maryland. Meanwhile, scholarship recipients learn character development, community responsibility and leadership through a tight-knit peer network, advisers and mentors.
