Mary Ann Granger-Alderson (Poulos) Memorial Scholarship

Friends, family and colleagues of Mary Ann Granger-Alderson created the Mary Ann Granger-Alderson Memorial Scholarship in 2008 to support undergraduate students with financial need. This fund was established in honor of Granger-Alderson's strong commitment to education. An administrator at the University of Maryland, she earned her bachelor of arts degree in economics at the University of Maryland College Park and a master's degree in management information systems from the University of Maryland University College. A long-time advocate for improving services to students, faculty and staff, Mary Ann Granger-Alderson (Poulos) was awarded the University of Maryland President's Distinguished Service Award in 1994.
