Women's Society

We’re excited to welcome you to this vibrant donor community. Members of the Maryland Women’s Society contribute to the Maryland Women’s Fund with an annual gift of $1,000 — 100% of which supports a rotating campus priority chosen by the Society each year.

Members can look forward to engaging with this special community throughout the year, including these planned activities and events:

• May 6, 2026: The inaugural Maryland Women’s Society annual luncheon will be held at University House, featuring the announcement of the winning funds.
  
  
• September 10, 2026: The Maryland Women’s Society will host a “Chip and Sip” event at the University Golf Course, in partnership with Maryland Athletics and the Division of Student Affairs. The event will feature a golf lesson from the Men’s and Women’s Golf teams, followed by a reception. Members are invited to bring a prospective member to attend.
  
  
• Winter 2026/2027: Maryland Women’s Society members will receive information on the impact of the inaugural Maryland Women’s Society grants.
  
  
• Spring 2027: Voting will open for Women’s Society donors to select funding recipients for the 2026-2027 grant cycle.
  
  
• March 15, 2027: Supporters who make an annual donation to the Maryland Women’s Society by this date will be eligible to vote on the selection of funding recipients.
  
  
• May 2027: Second Annual Maryland Women’s Society Luncheon, featuring the announcement of the winning funds.
