A. Morris Decker Memorial Scholarship Endowment
Dr. A. Morris Decker was professor emeritus of agronomy and acknowledged as one of the world's foremost forage specialists. Dr. Decker taught at the University of Maryland for more than 40 years after receiving his doctorate from the University. The A. Morris Decker Memorial Scholarship Endowment was established in March 2011 by his son, Gregory Decker. It provides annual scholarships for undergraduate students in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources to promote study and research in the areas of forage and cover crops.
