Sean D. Gowen and Rachel A. Alarid established the Diana L. Gowen Memorial Maryland Promise Scholarship in March 2024 under the auspices of the Clark Challenge for the Maryland Promise Program. This fund, established in memory of Diana L. Gowen ’77, MBA ’79 by her son and daughter-in-law, provides need-based scholarships for undergraduate students who are residents of Maryland or the District of Columbia, with preference for students in the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
