The Karl F. G. Du Puy Endowed Lecture in Urban Design honors the memory and legacy of Professor Du Puy. Professor Du Puy was a force of nature, a giant within the Architecture Program at the University of Maryland, whose passion for urbanism, architectural history and building craft was a foundational part of the curriculum. This lecture will continue to raise issues of urban design and inform future built environment professionals about their responsibility to the city.
