The Pearson Family established the Merritt E. “Emmy” Pearson ’23 Maryland Promise Scholarship in May 2023 under the auspices of the Clark Challenge for the Maryland Promise Program. This fund, named to honor Emmy Pearson, a Class of 2023 Communication graduate, provides need-based scholarships for undergraduate students who are residents of Maryland or the District of Columbia, with preference for students in the College of Arts and Humanities.
