Pamela C. Jones and Madison K. Jones established the Thomas W. Jones ’83, RADM, USCG (Ret) Maryland Promise Scholarship in April 2023 under the auspices of the Clark Challenge for the Maryland Promise Program. This fund was established in memory of Thomas W. Jones by his wife and daughter. It provides need-based scholarships for undergraduate students who are residents of Maryland or the District of Columbia, with preference for students in the A. James Clark School of Engineering.
