The VFD Fire Protection Engineering Scholarship is an endowed fund that provides general scholarship and living expenses support to undergraduate students majoring in Fire Protection Engineering, with special consideration given to those who currently serve or have served in volunteer firefighting. Preference given first to students who reside in the Berwyn Heights Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad, Inc., and then any firehouse located in Prince George’s County or Montgomery County in Maryland.
