The WMUC Legacy Fund was established in honor of the University of Maryland's radio station 65th anniversary and the more than six decades of student and alumni support. In order to ensure the future this fund will support and advance one of the few remaining freeform college radio stations in the United States. Since WMUC succeeds because of its student volunteers and engaged alumni, this fund seeks to directly support the operations and any necessary facility upgrades. Our goal is to create a substantial endowment that will ensure its long term sustainability.
*Gifts in support of this fund will support the current use scholarship fund until the minimum threshold required to convert this fund to endowment is reached.
