Millard and Lee Alexander Professorship in Chemical Physics

In December 2019, Dr. Millard Alexander established the Millard and Lee Alexander Endowed Professorship in Chemical Physics in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences (CMNS). 

Dr. Millard Alexander is a Distinguished University Emeritus Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the Institute for Physical Science and Technology. Throughout his outstanding career, Dr. Alexander has won numerous awards in theoretical chemistry and quantum molecular science and has written over 300 publications. His research interests include the study of inelastic and reactive molecular collisions. Gifts to this fund provide annual research support for a professor of chemical physics with a tenure home in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
