The Joseph and Rebecca Meyerhoff Center for Jewish Studies educates students about the history, literature, and contemporary culture of the Jewish people and supports academic and cultural programming in Jewish Studies and Religious Studies. The center's newest programs include UMD Tzohar (a program that brings college-level Jewish Studies to area high school students) and the Graduate Professional Certificate in Hebrew Language Pedagogy. The Meyerhoff Center, founded almost 50 years ago, currently offers 30 courses each academic year to a community of more than 700 students. The program provides support for the large Jewish student population on campus and a thriving Jewish Studies program strengthens the university's diversity and inclusion priorities. We hope you will join us in our mission to deepen knowledge of Jewish Studies on campus and in the larger community. Your gift will support our courses, our educational programs, our students, and our faculty. Thank you in advance for your gift today!
