The David E. Mills Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in October 2010 in memory of David by his family and friends. The David E. Mills Memorial Scholarship Fund provides annual scholarship support to University of Maryland students who work at The Diamondback. In tribute to David Mills, the recipients should share a commitment to, and passion for, issues of diversity and extraordinary student journalism.
