The university created the Marching Band Fund to support the immediate needs of Maryland’s Athletic Bands. Gifts of all sizes help enhance opportunities for students in the Mighty Sound of Maryland and Pep Band. The Mighty Sound of Maryland provides a college experience like no other, bringing together over 250 members from across campus to perform at every home football game, travel to at least one away game per year, and create the loudest and most dedicated Terp cheering section anywhere! The Pep Band plays at all men's and women's home basketball games. Your support helps address immediate needs—such as student support, travel, and uniform purchases—and strengthen our tradition of excellence as we work to be "The Best Band in the Land.”
