The Maryland Dance Team is proud to entertain audiences at all Terrapin home football and basketball games! These talented Terps bring excitement, energy, and enthusiasm to "Terp Alley", Pregame and Halftime performances with the Mighty Sound of Maryland Marching Band, campus activities, and community functions throughout the year. The dance team incorporates all styles of dance including hip hop, jazz, poms, studio and cheer dance. The Maryland Dance Team has performed at the Orange and Gator Bowls, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Disney World, and at the Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit. In addition to these performances, the Maryland Dance Team, together with the Mighty Sound of Maryland, spent a week in New Orleans building houses for Habitat for Humanity after Hurricane Katrina. Whether cheering from the sidelines or dancing center field during the third quarter time out, they are an integral part of bringing Terp spirit to College Park and beyond!
