Friends and family of Misti Yang established the Misti Yang Impact Award in 2023. This fund is named in memory of Misti H. Yang Ph.D. ’21. It supports awards to recognize graduate students in the Department of Communication in the College of Arts and Humanities at the University of Maryland. Eligible recipients will be participants in experiential learning opportunities. Funds may be used for, but not limited to expenses related to travel, conferences, internships and extracurricular activities.
