Make A Gift UMD Student Crisis Fund

This essential, quick-response fund helps currently enrolled students who face an unanticipated emergency that requires immediate financial assistance. Your gift to the Student Crisis Fund will help provide emergency resources to students in urgent need.Nearly all of the new requests are from students or parents encountering financial hardships due to work disruptions. Thanks to the generosity of UMD alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends, the Crisis Fund has assisted thousands of students since March 2020.
